RHODES ZACHARY RHODES appears as a landowner in Weymouth, 1642 to 1644. On page 268 of the published Land Grants of Weymouth his name is incorrectly printed Zakery Reades for Roades. On 6 Mar. 1657, Zachary Roades deposed, stating that he was about 54 years of age. From the Register (33: 428) we learn that "Jeremiah Rhodes the Sorme of Zachary Rhodes was home at Pautuxet the 29 of the 4 month [June] commonly called June in Anno Dorn. 1647." It appears that Zachary Rhodes married Joanna Arnold, widow of Resolved Waterman and Samuel Winsor, as her third husband.
