Joseph Hull's on or near 20 Mar. 1634-35. He received grants of IaV~uth and settled there. About 1644 a description of the lands of Nicholas ' Richard, Onesephor-Liq ard Simer Whitmarsh mentions -mne acres M' the westerneck first given to their father John Whitmarsh dec'd." He was a housewright. He served in King Philip's War in Capt. William Torrey's Company, 1675. He made his will 22 May, 1695, and it was proved 15 Dec. 1709. In it he mentions his eldest son John, his son Ebenezer, his son Zachariah, if he returns from sea, his son Ezra, his daughters Sarah, Mary, Deborah, Judith Shaw and Ruth; son Ezra Whitmarsh to be executor.
